WEDNESDAY's deals

Today the nice mail lady brought a package to my door containing my FREE paint kit sample from Valspar!  The kit contains a sample paint (I chose the color shiitake!), a mini-roller, a mini-tray, and a $5 off coupon!  For those of you who know me this is perfect because I currently have 5 walls painted different colors in my house - love it!  The best part is it looks like YOU can still get one too!!  Head over to the Valspar website and right there on the front page it'll tell you all about it.  As I recall they only give out so many each day, so try it first thing in the morning.  My sample arrived within a week!

My second deal of the day was a shopping trip to QFC.  I paid $4.14 for the items above.  The yogurts were marked down to $.25 each and I had a $1.00 coupon when you buy 10.  The tortillas were incorrectly marked at last week's price of $1.50 each (I didn't realize this until after I paid and noticed they had charged me too much, so they gladly gave me the posted price of $1.50 each) and they had peelie coupons for $.50 off each.  The bananas are "baking bananas" which just means they are ready to eat!  At $.39 a pound I nearly exclusively buy my bananas there.
